W570/R Thicknesser 318mm Capacity
A compact thicknesser which will plane and dimension any timber up to 12" x 6" in size. Thicknessing height is quickly set using a large adjusting handle and reading off a scale marked in both metric and imperial measurements. The timber is passed through the cutter by two rubber coated drive rollers leaving a smooth unmarked finish. When not in use the infeed and outfeed tables fold up to leave a compact unit for convenient storage or an easily portable unit with built-in carrying handles. Another nice feature is the addition of two chrome rollers on top of the machine, helpful when handling long timbers back over to make a second pass through the thicknesser.

This new version of our popular thicknesser has some great new features. A lock on the thickness height ensures that an exact thickness can be maintained even when making a batch of identical components. A gearbox provides two feed speeds so that a high quality finish can be achieved even when working with hardwoods. As well as having a clear scale marked out down the side of the machine there is a digital display showing the thickness setting. This can be used to set the height to your desired dimension or zeroed to allow you to then remove a particular thickness from the work piece. The display can be toggled between inches and mm. The two folding tables also have the additional features of a tool pouch on one and a cable tidy on the other. Supplied with built-in carrying handles, pass over rollers, rubber feet, blade setting tool, extraction outlet 65mm/100mm diameter, cable and plug.
